Washington DC
My Experience at  Washington DC was Fun and enjoyable. When we first got at the airport we boarded the plane for a 1hour flight, when we finally got to Washington DC we got introduced to our tour guide and bus driver. We  got on the bus we visited the United States Capitol, The White House , And the National Archives  Museum. When we got done the first day of Washington DC we went to go eat and go back to the Hotel. When we got to the hotel we checked in and  went to our rooms. The second day of Washington DC we went to the ford Theater and learned about the Assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. The second thing we did was go to the National Holocaust Museum we learned about how the Jews were treated during the Holocaust and how it all started, Then we went to the Newseum There you learned about what happened through the years and how people broadcast the news. The Third Day of Washington DC we went to the National gallery Art, there you learned the  collects and exhibits works of art from numerous countries and historical eras. Its collection features roughly 141,000 paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and forms of new media that stretch all the way back to the Middle Ages.The fourth Day of Washington DC we went to the Pentagon and learned about the the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001—60 years to the day after construction began on the Pentagon—a hijacked plane struck the building, killing 189 people and damaging roughly one-third of the building. The last day of Washington D.C. we went to the Lincoln memorial and the National Mall.

Washington DC  the United States capitol was founded on July 16 ,1790 it unique among the other American cities because it was established by the Constitution of the United States to serve as the nation’s capital.Washington DC is located between Virginia and Maryland on the north bank of the Potomac River. The city is home to all three branches of the federal government, as well as the White House, the Supreme Court and the Capitol Building. More than 500,000 people live in Washington, D.C. Washington D.C got its name by the chosen commissioners to honor President George Washington, the name was was popularized as a name for America in patriotic poetry and song after the Revolutionary War. The term idealized America’s qualities as a land of liberty. Washington D.C. The District of Columbia in Washington D.C. was named for  the explorer Christopher Columbus.

Newseum
The Newseum is an interactive museum that offers  free expression and the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, while tracing the evolution of communication.The Newseum features many interactive elements that make it one of the most cutting-edge museums in the world. The museum's expansion includes 15 galleries and 15 theaters, the Newseum provides interactive experiences and exhibits that deal with some of the most vital incidents in history, using the incredible work of the free press as its guide. The evolution of communication can also be tracked through the Newseum, from the invention of radio to the technologies of today and the future. The newseum also hosts educational talks and discussions, guided tours and film screenings.

Smithsonian American Art Museum
first federal Art collection of the United States, housing the world's largest collection of American Art  The Washington, D.C., Museum  showcases more than 40,000 works of Art , representing 7,000 American Artist. The Museum is the home to one of the largest collections of American Art in the world. Its artworks reveal key aspects of America’s s rich artistic and cultural history from the colonial period to today. The Precursor  to the museum was a gallery begun in 1829 by the Washington collector John Var den for his personal collection of European artwork. The collection was briefly known as the National Institute but gradually merged with the newly created Smithsonian in the 1850s and 1860s.The Smithsonian’s art collections were first assembled seventeen years before Congress and President James K. Polk established the Smithsonian Institution. the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Portrait Gallery are the focus of “American Biography,” a new Context walk that examines American identity through the biographies of paintings and sculptures of key figures – like Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Lincoln.

Since the museum opening have suddenly reached of the institution resources across the United States. the Museum works closely with many segments of society who will affect the future of our nation.  he museum was designed by famed architect and holocaust survivor James Ingo freed.The museum since its opening has had over 30 million visitors come to the site.The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum opened to the public on April 26, 1993, with a dedication ceremony attended by President Clinton, Vice President Gore, and many national and international dignitaries.The museum has become a worldwide leader in Holocaust education.The Museum's educational work depends on its collections and ensuring the vitality of Holocaust scholarship.

The White House
The White House is the official residence and workplace of the President of the United States. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. and has been the residence of every U.S. President since John Adams in 1800.The home of every U.S. president except George Washington, the site of the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue was selected in June 1791. The design for the Presidential Mansion. The first president to live in the White House, which, surprisingly, was originally painted yellow, was John Adams. There are 132 rooms, 35 bathrooms, and 6 levels in the Residence. There are also 412 doors, 147 windows, 28 fireplaces, 8 staircases, and 3 elevators.The White House requires 570 gallons of paint to cover its outside surface, In History the White House has been known as the President’s Palace, the President’s House,” and the “Executive Mansion.President Theodore Roosevelt officially gave the White House its current name in 1901.The White House kitchen is able to serve dinner to as many as 140 guests.

Washington Wizards 
The Washington Wizards are an American professional basketball team based in Washington, D.C. The Wizards compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Southeast Division.  In 1973, after moving to Land over, Maryland, they played a season as the Capital Bullets, and in 1974 they became the Washington Bullets, a name they kept until 1995, when owner Abe Pollen renamed the team the Washington Wizards because of the violent  of the word bullet. Founded in 1961 as the Chicago Packers, the team relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, in 1963 and became the Bullets. The Bullets reached the NBA play-offs for the first time in history during the 1964 -1965 season, but it was not until the 1970s that future Hall of Fame players such as Earl Monroe, Gus Johnson, Wes Unsold, and Elvin Hayes made the Bullets yearly contenders for the NBA championship. From the 1988–89 season to the 2003–04 season, however, Washington qualified for the postseason only once.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial 
Image result for Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial The centerpiece of the memorial is a 30-foot statue of Dr. King, featuring his likeness carved into the Stone of Hope, which emerges powerfully from two large boulders, known as the Mountain of Despair. Visitors enter through the Mountain of Despair and tour the memorial as if moving through the struggles that Dr. King faced during his life. Visitors end in the open freedom of the plaza. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial is situated on a four-acre site along the National Mall's Tidal Basin, adjacent to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial and shares  a direct line of sight between the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was one of the most prominent leaders of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s, becoming an icon through his incredible speeches and his use of nonviolent resistance. He led the famous March on Washington in 1963, where he gave his legendary “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no fee to visit.
